JUMBO beef stock is a dehydrated seasoning powder with a beef flavour, halal. Sold in a 1 kg tub (50 litres of reconstituted stock), it is used as a savoury base in the sauces, rice dishes and soups of African cuisine.
What is JUMBO beef stock?
The tub carries the names “Beef Flavour Stock” in English and “Bouillon goût bœuf” in French. It is a beef flavouring: its ingredient list contains no meat extract, but salt, maize starch, maltodextrin, soya flour, flavourings, sunflower oil, a colour and spices. The JUMBO brand belongs to the GBfoods group and is distributed in France by Haudecœur.
How to use it?
Dilute a spoonful in hot water for a quick stock, or mix it directly into sauces, rice dishes and stews while cooking. Taste before adding more salt: the product already contains 54.12 g of salt per 100 g.
What to pair it with?
Complete it with JUMBO Aroma stock, JUMBO smoked shrimp stock or JUMBO Tout en 1. A recipe for inspiration: Haitian griot. The whole spices and condiments range.
