STARLING apple is an instant drink preparation: granules made from sugar and dextrose, with a little black tea extract and concentrated apple juice, to dissolve in hot or cold water. 400 g jar.
This is not a tea for steeping
The label itself states it: “instant tea preparation”. Nothing to steep or strain, the granules dissolve in a few seconds. Sugar and dextrose are the first two ingredients, with a black tea extract (1.4%) and a concentrated apple juice (0.15%). The cinnamon stick pictured on the jar is a serving suggestion: cinnamon is not part of the recipe.
How to prepare it?
Count about 5 teaspoons of granules for a 200 ml cup of hot or cold water, as for the peach version of the same range, and stir until fully dissolved. For a spiced touch, add a cinnamon stick during preparation. For an iced tea, first dissolve the powder in a little hot water, then top up with cold water and ice cubes.
