What is ginger beer?
A sweet carbonated drink with a pronounced ginger taste, spicier than a ginger ale, the milder, lighter ginger soda. This one contains no yeast and no alcohol: it is a soda, not a fermented beer. How to serve it?
Very cold, with ice cubes and a wedge of lime. It is the base of two well-known cocktails: the Moscow Mule, with vodka and lime, and the Dark 'n' Stormy, with dark rum. Without alcohol, it mixes with lime juice and fresh mint. It also pairs with Jamaican jerk chicken.
