SAMIA halal coloured vinegar is a spirit vinegar with 6 degrees of acidity, coloured with caramel, made in Morocco. It seasons salads, raw vegetables and marinades every day. 500 mL bottle with a pouring cap.
What is coloured vinegar?
A spirit vinegar to which caramel is added, giving it its characteristic amber tint, unlike clear white vinegar. The SAMIA label lists only two ingredients: spirit vinegar with 6 degrees of acetic acidity, and caramel. It is a distinct reference from SAMIA white vinegar, which is 8 degrees and not coloured.
How to use it?
A drizzle over raw vegetables, a salad or a tabbouleh brings out the freshness of the vegetables. As a marinade, it tenderises and flavours meat or chicken before cooking. A few drops are enough to liven up a vinaigrette or a sauce: its acidity is pronounced, as with any spirit vinegar.
What to pair it with?
In Maghrebi cuisine, it goes with SAMIA preserved lemons and raw vegetable salads. The Moroccan and Maghrebi cuisine range brings together products from the same line.
