STARLING nanah mint tea is a soluble preparation based on sugar, green tea extract and natural mint flavouring, to dissolve in hot or cold water. This is not leaves to steep in a teapot: the 400 g jar contains a granulated powder.
An instant preparation, not a real leaf tea
Unlike a traditional mint tea, there is no teapot or leaves to steep here. The ingredient list states sugar, dextrose, an acidifier (citric acid), a green tea extract (2.2%) and a natural mint flavouring with other natural flavourings (0.2%). The granules dissolve directly in water, for a sweet drink with the taste of green tea and mint.
How to prepare it?
Pour the powder into a glass or cup according to the dose stated on the jar, add hot or cold water, and stir until fully dissolved. For a real Moroccan leaf mint tea, with teapot and froth, see instead the Moroccan mint tea recipe on the blog.
What to pair it with?
The STARLING range also comes in mint and lime tea, for a tangier version. All the teas and infusions in the shop are gathered in the African teas and infusions range.
