MAGGI Hot Arôme is the spicy version of Maggi liquid seasoning, sold under the name Hot Liquid Seasoning in the English-speaking markets of West Africa. A few drops lift a sauce, a rice dish or a marinade. 100 ml bottle, that is 40 doses of half a teaspoon.
What is the difference with the classic Maggi Arôme?
This bottle does not have the same recipe as the classic MAGGI Arôme sold in France: it is spicy, its label is written in English, and it contains wheat and celery. It is a dark brown liquid, very salty and with an umami taste, to be dosed with care.
How to use it?
The label counts one portion as half a teaspoon, that is 2.5 ml. Add it at the end of cooking to a jollof rice, a peanut sauce, a braised chicken, a leaf sauce or a meat or fish marinade, then taste before adding salt: 100 ml contains 22.5 g of salt.
What to pair it with?
It complements the JUMBO fish stock in sauces. For other spicy flavours, the chillies and hot sauces section brings together the chillies and sauces of the shop.
