SAMIA orange blossom flavouring scents oriental pastries: gazelle horns, makrouts, chebakia, as well as pancakes, orange salads and mint tea. 50 cl bottle, labelled "orange flavouring".
Flavouring or orange blossom water?
It is a flavouring: its composition is water and an orange blossom flavouring. It is not a hydrosol, that is, the water collected after distilling fresh bitter orange blossoms, which is a different product, more expensive and with a more delicate scent. The flavouring is more powerful drop for drop and costs less: it is the one most often found in kitchens for large batches of cakes.
How to use it?
A few spoonfuls in a cake batter, a baklava syrup, a sweet semolina or an orange salad. It also scents mint tea and cold drinks. As its scent is strong, pour it in gradually and taste: an over-scented batter cannot be corrected.
What to pair it with?
With SAMIA rose water, ground cinnamon and golden sesame from oriental pastry. The Moroccan and Maghrebi cuisine section brings these products together.
