Dékolaj' Lemon M'AMOUR is a gelled preparation made from cane sugar, lemon juice and zest, designed to make an Antillean ti-punch in one step. It contains no rum: you add it yourself when serving. 325 g jar.
What is Dékolaj'?
Dékolaj' is made by the Guy Lesueur house, M'AMOUR brand, at the Domaine de l'Espérance, in Pointe-Noire, Guadeloupe. It replaces the cane sugar and lemon that are usually measured by hand for a ti-punch: its gelled texture, obtained with fruit pectin, blends easily into rum without long stirring.
How to use it?
Place a spoonful of Dékolaj' in a glass, melt it with a little rum, then add the amount of rum you like to taste. Without alcohol, dilute it with sparkling water or juice for a fresh, tangy drink.
What to pair it with?
For a traditional ti-punch with pure cane sugar, also try the DORMOY cane syrup, pure Martinique cane juice. The recipe for Antillean rum punch is on our blog. Discover the Caribbean & Antilles Flavours grocery range.
