BOIS CHÉRI vanilla tea is a black tea flavoured with vanilla, produced by the Mauritian plantation house Bois Chéri. It is prepared in 3 to 4 minutes in hot water and enjoyed plain, with a little milk or lightly sweetened. The box contains 25 sachets, for 50 g.
What is Bois Chéri vanilla tea?
Bois Chéri is a plantation house on the island of Mauritius, in the Indian Ocean, whose tea plants grow at around 500 metres of altitude. This black tea is flavoured with a natural vanilla flavouring: the recipe has only two ingredients, black tea and vanilla flavouring. The resulting infusion is amber, with a round taste and a vanilla note that softens the natural bitterness of black tea.
How to use it?
Use one sachet (or a teaspoon of loose tea) per cup. Pour hot water, between 90 and 95 degrees, without boiling it to preserve the aroma, then let it steep for 3 to 4 minutes depending on the strength desired. It is drunk plain, with a splash of milk, or lightly sweetened. In summer, let it cool then serve it over ice cubes for an iced tea.
What to pair it with?
The BOIS CHÉRI exotic fruits tea, from the same house, is a way to vary your infusions. To soften it, try a splash of BONNET ROUGE unsweetened condensed milk. The Exotic Teas and Infusions collection brings together other products.
