FOSTER CLARKS pineapple ginger powdered juice is a flavoured drink to dilute in water, sold in a 20 g sachet that makes 1.5 litres of fresh drink. Made in Malta by Foster Clark Products Ltd, it is a classic of African and Caribbean grocery stores.
What is FOSTER CLARKS pineapple ginger powdered juice?
Despite its name, this sachet contains neither pineapple nor ginger powder: its ingredients list shows an artificial pineapple and ginger flavour, sugar, glucose syrup and sweeteners. This is what is called in English a "flavoured powder drink", not a pressed fruit juice. The FOSTER CLARK'S brand was founded in 1889 in Maidstone, England, by George Foster Clark. It is made today in Malta by Foster Clark Products Ltd, which exports its powdered drinks to West Africa and many other countries.
How to use it?
Empty the sachet into a glass or plastic jug, add 1.5 litres of cold water (ice cubes if needed), and mix well: no need to add sugar. Serve chilled, as a table drink for a family meal or a party. Once prepared, keep the drink in the fridge and do not store it in a metal container.
What to pair it with?
NKOSI offers other flavours in the same range: FOSTER CLARKS pineapple powdered juice and FOSTER CLARKS berries powdered juice. Find other drinks from the same section in the African and tropical exotic drinks collection.
