NIDO is Nestlé's instant whole milk powder, to dilute in water for a milky drink or to enrich coffee, tea and porridge. It is not an infant formula: it is not suitable for infants under 12 months. 900 g metal tin.
What is NIDO milk powder?
NIDO is a Nestlé milk powder brand, made in the Netherlands and distributed in several European countries (France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, United Kingdom). It is a whole milk, reduced to powder and made instant to dissolve quickly in water. The brand is very present in African and Caribbean grocery stores, where it is part of many families' daily life.
How to prepare it?
Pour the powder into warm or cold water and stir until fully dissolved, following the dosage shown on the tin. The nutrition table on the packaging counts 27 servings of 250 ml per tin, or about 33 g of powder per serving. The reconstituted milk can be drunk as is or used to enrich a coffee, a tea, a hot chocolate or a millet porridge; in cooking, it also goes into sauces and pastries. Close the tin well after use and store it in a dry place.
What to pair it with?
The same powder is also available in a 400 g tin for a smaller format. For condensed milk, discover the unsweetened condensed milk BONNET ROUGE or the sweetened condensed milk NESTLÉ. The whole range: West African grocery.
